Vintaged in 1993 from all natural ingredients. This one is for lovers of asian style plum wines (lovers of marzipan flavours in wine). This unique flavour of stone fruit kernels has been ramped up but still within legal limits. Our wine is made from fully ripened fruits so does not have that undesirable, coarse and bitter flavour of other products made from green/ unripe fruits. It is a little known fact that premium umeshu is actually made from fully ripened fruits, contrary to popular belief. Enjoy this full-strength umeshu straight up (chilled in summer); over ice; in cocktails; with soda water or champagne for a refreshing summer spritz; with hot water as a great winter-warmer (Japan style).
