CLASSIC TAWNY 375mL (Limited Release 2020)
The grape wines used in this tawny were crafted using the traditional "partial fermentation followed by fortification" method with all wines aged at least five years prior to blending, then extensively aged prior to bottling. A liqueur, multi varietal wine (50% Mataro). Plum and raisin nuances with loads of aged rancio character and subtle oak. A well balanced fortified typical of the Australian Tawny style - not an overly sweet finish and definitely no added caramel. Note that no sulphites were added at time of bottling for our 2020 very limited release!
Best enjoyed at room temperature on its own, or with cheese & dried fruit following a meal.
